Gas Safe Register is the official list of gas engineers who are qualified to work safely and legally on gas appliances. By law, all gas engineers must be on the Gas Safe Register, and our installation crew members are no exception. Gas Safe replaced CORGI, and you should only use a Gas Safe registered engineer to fit, fix, or service your appliances.

✔ Checklist

We can only connect your new appliance to an existing electric and/or gas supply within 1 metre of the installation location, with an accessible isolation switch
For electric and induction hobs and electric cookers, there must be an adequate electrical supply based on the manufacturer's recommendations
There must also be an adequate gap (as per the manufacturer's recommendations) between the heat source and whatever is above it in your kitchen.
If your worktop does need to be altered for a hob, we're only able to do this if it's wood-based as we're unable to alter Corian, granite, or quartz worktops
If you have a conservatory to the rear of the kitchen, this must have an air brick in the wall or additional ventilation
For an extractor, we'll connect the hood to an existing extractor fan and the correct ducting; as this is not supplied, you must already have the correct type and size of the ducting kit. The aperture must be the correct dimensions for the hood, and for both types of hoods, the wall or ceiling must be of suitable construction to bear the weight. We won't expand or reduce vent holes or install a hood where this might contravene the requirements of nearby appliances.

Please note that our warranties only cover domestic use; items for use in commercial properties might not be covered.
