Returns and Cancellations

Please note
- the terms relating to cancellations, returns and refunds in this section do not apply to our kitchen, bathroom and bedroom design and installation service.

For online and phone purchases

If you wish to cancel your order for a full refund you have the right to do so, providing you notify us in writing of your intention within 14 days of the day after delivery. Please notify us by Email: customerservice@blaines.co.uk

The goods must be returned in the original box and internal packaging and not have been installed. Please be aware that we cannot accept any returns that are not sufficiently packaged. Furthermore, we will not be liable for any damage caused in transit due to insufficient packaging, and, should this occur, the item will be returned back to the customer with no refund.

Any goods supplied must then be returned at your own expense, within 14 days of your notice to cancel to us at:

We are able to arrange an insured collection if requested. *Please note - costs vary according to the size and weight of the item*. An indication of costs are listed below, however please contact us for exact charges:

DVD / Blu-Ray - £15
Televisions Up To 32" - £25
Televisions Over 32" - £50
Small Audio / Headphones / Other Accessories - £10 to £25
Small Kitchen Appliances And Vacuum Cleaners - £10 to £20

 

Providing the goods are returned complete with all accessories (including any free gifts supplied) you will receive a full refund within 14 days of our receipt of the goods. We are unable to accept back unwanted gifts or non-faulty items if more than 14 days after the delivery date have passed.

If items are returned missing original factory packed accessories you will be charged for their replacement. The following prices are for guidance only, actual prices vary between manufacturers.

Remote Control - £30 to £70
Instruction Book - £5 to £15
Lead - £5 to £30
Mains Adaptor / Charger - £30 to £50
Rechargeable Battery - £30 to £50
TV Stand - £25 to £250

Products we are unable to cancel, refund or exchange

We can not offer refunds or exchanges, unless faulty or not as described, on the following items:
• made to measure products such as splashbacks
• products which have been personalised for you, such as image enhanced splashbacks or engraved solid surfaces

Items delivered direct from the Manufacturer cannot be returned to one of our stores.

Faulty products

Purchase in store and on-line

We do understand that occasionally you may experience a problem or have a defective product, and we are here to help. The first steps will be to see if we can resolve the situation. To do this you simply call one of our stores who will be happy to sort out any issues you have with your product. If the product is under 28 days old and one of our team members is not able to resolve the issue, they can arrange to have the product returned and a full refund, including delivery charges, issued. Unfortunately, if any accessories such as leads, remote controls, hoses or shelves etc are missing, you will be charged the cost of their replacement (see Missing Accessories info below for cost).

If the fault occurs within 30 days of purchase (or delivery or installation) we will always offer you either a repair, exchange or refund. If the fault with your product occurs within its guarantee period (normally 12 months from delivery) we will offer you a prompt repair service.
In all cases we reserve the right to inspect the product and verify the fault.

We do not cover faults caused by accident, neglect, misuse or normal wear and tear.

Items delivered direct from the Manufacturer cannot be returned to one of our stores.

Damaged products

Purchased in store

If you unpack your product and find it damaged, you can return the product to one of our stores within 48 hours of delivery.

If you cannot make it back to store or in the case of large items such as white goods, please call the originating store to arrange collection

Purchased on-line

If you receive a damaged product, please email our Customer Service Team within 48 hours of delivery. We will arrange an exchange or refund as soon as possible.

Collection/exchange of the damaged item is free.
